SLEEP COACHING FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN
HELP YOUR LITTLE ONE SLEEP BETTER RESPECTING THEIR NEEDS
HOW CAN I HELP YOU
My job is to inform families about what normal sleep looks like in healthy babies and children, identify possible problems and find solutions adapted to each family.
My way of proceeding is to inform first, adjust expectations, make changes in the environment, and create healthy routines and schedules. All this is included in a sleep plan adapted to each family. No sleep plan is based on letting babies cry alone because of the negative effects that not responding to a baby's cry can have on babies and their attachment to their parents in the short and long term.
WHAT DIFFERENTIATES ME FROM OTHER SLEEP CONSULTANTS?
All the sleep plans and recommendations take into account your baby's needs of contact and attachment. The goal is for babies and toddlers to fall asleep and sleep without crying.
It's possible? Yes! It's possible! However, you must be aware that this kind of changes take longer to take effect (2-3 weeks in general).
If you want your baby to sleep better, it is not necessary to stop breastfeeding at. You can dissociate nursing from falling asleep, little by little, and continue breastfeeding at night when your baby is hungry.
Breastfeeding at night has several benefits for both mothers and babies.
Unlike other advisers who recommend to put the baby to sleep in their room from a very early age, I recommend cosleeping as long as possible / as long as the family wants, be it sharing a bed or sharing a room.
Something as natural and easy as cosleeping can solve many sleep problems and improve the rest of the whole family.
